Please be advised when visiting a public space, including Inn at Bay Harbor, risk of being exposed to COVID-19 does exist. Understanding that no reasonable efforts can entirely wipe out possibilities of a virus being transmitted, we remain committed to taking every step to help protect the safety of our associates and guests.

  • Yes, our plan is to open Quarry/Preserve on May 7th for the 2021 season pending weather conditions. Links/Quarry and Preserve/Links will open May 14th.

  • Yes, golf carts are available for two riders. Golf carts will be sanitized before and following every use with a CDC approved Peroxide sanitizing solution.

The cart fleets at all BOYNE Golf courses cannot sustain single cart usage. If we can fulfill your request to take an single cart, we want to inform you that a cart fee of $30 will be applied for individual use. This applies to all players (members and public guests).

  • We have implemented a daily health screening for all team members reporting for work.  If a team member does not pass the screening, they will be sent home with pay.  If team members are feeling ill or taking care of an ill family member, they are instructed to stay home. We are continuing training on COVID-19 awareness and also advising of proper health etiquette, including limiting contact with their eyes, nose, and mouth, and hand hygiene.  In our daily meetings, our teams are reminded that cleanliness starts with the simple act of proper hand hygiene. We are enforcing frequent handwashing with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or an alcohol-based hand sanitizer if soap and water are unavailable, and providing frequent breaks to wash stations and increased access to hand sanitizing stations.

  • Guests ages 5+ who can medically tolerate a face covering and all resort associates are required by Michigan law to wear an adequate face covering when in any indoor public space (including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, restaurants, shops) and outdoor space when unable to consistently maintain a distance of six feet or more from individuals who are not members of your household.

Children ages two years old and older are strongly encouraged to wear a face covering, pursuant to guidance from the CDC.

When dining or vising any venue serving food and/or beverages, a face covering must be worn at all times except when actually eating or drinking. This includes while being seated, when ordering, and upon departure.

When golfing, a face covering must be worn in the arrival/cart check-in area and golf shop, when interacting with any golf course personnel, and when visiting with any guests not in the group with whom you checked in. If distanced at least six feet from others, face coverings are not required while on the course or driving range.

A mask can be provided to you if needed, and based on availability.

  • All team members who work indoors or in close contact with guests are required to wear masks while working.  In addition, many team members, including those in food and beverage and housekeeping, are required to wear gloves as appropriate and needed.

  • We take standards for hygiene and cleanliness very seriously.  On a daily basis, we are working to ensure we meet the latest guidance.  We use cleaning products and protocols that are effective against a broad spectrum of viruses, including COVID-19:
